I came here after having my hair extensions removed in September and Shauna absolutely fixed my hair! She did an amazing job so since then I've been coming back (with different stylists each time) to get tints (as I have naturally brown hair with blonde highlights) and cuts, and each time I've loved it. However as I've not had my hair bleached for 2 years, I decided to get it done and get it all freshened up, hoping it'd look lovely, this was not the case! My hair stylist this time round was ***** and although absolutely lovely, the hair colour I ended up with was NOTHING at all that I wanted! I'm not one to complain but after spending £165 I just felt I could've done a better job myself, so I rang and said I wasn't happy and the manager was lovely and said I could come back Saturday morning and have it done how I wanted but it would be ***** who'd be doing it. I asked for a refund and got told no which I was fine with, and just asked if if ***** would definitely be able to give me what I wanted (I was a bit sceptical since I did show ***** a picture the first time round) and I was told I'd get exactly what I wanted. I wanted a really clean balyage look with multi-tonal blondes throughout so it looked bright and natural. I didn't get this at all! I instead got a really distinct colour difference, with a really dark colour on top which went completely into a bright white with yellow tinge hair colour at the bottom (not a good look at all). So I went to *salon name removed* and I'm SO happy with the result! I've got exactly what I wanted at half the price! I'm gutted I've had to spend more money on my hair as £165 was very expensive to start with any way! But I'm so happy with it now and feel my self again!
Although sadly I won't be going back because of my experience, everyone is really friendly and nice and every single person I've had previously has done an amazing job on my hair!
I would avoid this place by all means. quality of work is very poor and staff very rude try to charge you extra.

I have been going to Jane Alexandra for years to have my hair cut and coloured and I absolutely love it! Ali does my hair and I love her - the salon is relaxing, friendly, and I am always very happy with how my hair turns out. Ali and Shaunah have been able to make my vague hair ideas into reality for me and I will continue to go there for as long as they are there! :)
